Here I am again! Finally!
Bryan and I went to Education Week at BYU last week! Amazing! Awesome! Everyone should go! We are going to go again next year. I met Alonzo Gaskill, who I have been corresponding with. He is the author of The Lost Language of Symbolism. All the presenters we heard from where storehouses of knowledge. I think that is what heaven will be like! My goal now is to get knowledge enough to teach at Ed Week! Wouldn't that be wonderful!

My new front door. We are planning to change the accent colors of the house. The front door will be a deep chocolate brown.

Working on some curb appeal with my mother in law who has a green thumb!

Jacob at the Nauvoo Temple May 22 2007

The house on 10 acres that we will be getting soon!!

The kitchen I came home to! Bryan worked through rain, flood, and seven children to create this kitchen for me. He is very close to perfect!

My sister Keziah who took care of me in Utah. What a fun time! She did not help with my no sugar diet! I got to go to BYU. the Spirit there is so awesome I forgot to take a picture!

Well Hello again finally

I won't pretend that I will post any more often than I have been. I don't know how to find the time for this. I am going to get my life more scheduled to try though.
OK UPDATE
The week of the 7th of May I was in Ut. I went to see a doctor there who I hoped could help me get better. I am on a no sugar diet. Amazingly I have been doing pretty well at not giving in to cravings. I have been feeling better!
May 17 Jacob turned 12 years old. His Grove Grandparents were able to visit for a week. Jacob was ordained a deacon in the Aaronic Priesthood on the 20th. On the 22nd of May we went to Nauvoo so that Jacob could do baptisms in the temple. What an awesome experience. He was baptised for some of his Grove ancestors including Jacob Grove his 5th great grandfather. Grove Grandparents, Grandma Aitchison, Keenan and Mable Blanchard were able to share the day with him.
Sometime in May the bank called Bryan and asked if he would be interested in another remodel! We were pretty excited. It is a huge house on 10 acres with a lot of outbuildings and amazing potential. We plan to close by Aug 1st.
So we have been speeding up the remodel of our current home. Three weeks ago however I fell from the ladder that was allowing me to texture the walls of the stairwell and seriously hurt myself. I am just getting able to bend over and lift things heavier than my laptop.
Yes, I should have been blogging while I was stuck on the couch but then it would have been all depressing.
So I hope this post makes those of you who have been faithfully checking back happy!

Here is the reason for name mothergooneybird.
It is from a camp song of the same name.
" Mother GooneyBird! Mother Gooneybird!
Seven chicks has Mother Gooneybird!
And they can't walk, and they can't talk,
all they do is go like this:
The singers then wiggle their body parts in this order
while singing this chorus after calling out each new movement
Right leg, left leg, right arm, left arm,
Nod your head, turn around, stick out your tongue,
When you are doing all the motions you call them out in order
and sing the song one more time
and fall on the ground!
It is quite hilarious and makes everyone breathlessly happy.

House Work

Today we are busy turning the school room into the new work shop. We are getting a small load of drywall today. Part for the kitchen which is getting a new pantry. And the rest for Jacob's room. The plaster is falling down in there and so we are covering it up. I have been stripping wall paper (windshield wiper fluid is amazing) and getting ready to paint the other bedrooms. Also repairing plaster in the stairwell and hall. I am doing all I can so that Bryan can focus on the hard parts.
Bryan in busy busy with work. He could use some prayers so please send yours!
Hello World!
This is what the Grove family in Missouri has been working on lately.
1. Cleaning the house ( an ever-present never ending duty)
2. Fixing the house ( an ever-present never ending choice)
3. School work ( an ever-present never ending excitement filled somewhat stressful adventure)
4. Potty training Emilie (it's not working)
5. Trying to smile more and use kinder words. (an ever-present desire if not an accomplishment)
